New artwork uploaded....A mystical painting capturing the faint outline of two horsemen on a foggy night. Large format Oil on canvas work 48" x 48" by acclaimed artist Kuppanna Kangdal. Kangdal's sense of proportion, illumination and geometric perfection seems to stem from his background in civil engineering. contemporary art, dreamlike composition, warm colors, figurative painting, symbolism, nostalgic themes, ethereal figures, horse imagery, abstract expression, mystical atmosphere This captivating piece invites the viewer into a dreamlike realm, where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur. The ethereal presence of two figures, combined with the silhouette of a horse, evokes a sense of nostalgia and introspection. Subtle hues blend seamlessly, creating a warm glow that envelops the composition, while delicate lines suggest movement and connection. This artwork speaks to the universal themes of memory and identity, making it a poignant addition to any contemporary collection. The painting features two stylized, ghostly faces that emerge from a warm, muted background, primarily composed of oranges and browns. One face appears more prominent, while the other is slightly shadowed, lending depth to the composition. To the left, a horse's head is depicted, rendered in a similarly soft manner, suggesting a connection between the figures and the animal. Spirals and faint lines weave through the scene, hinting at movement and emotion. The overall texture is smooth, with the gentle blending of colors creating an ethereal atmosphere, enhanced by a subtle play of light across the surface. This painting evokes similarities to the works of Marc Chagall and Salvador DalÃ, particularly in its dreamlike quality and use of surreal elements. Both artists explore themes of memory, identity, and connection through soft colors and ethereal figures, creating an otherworldly ambiance that resonates with viewers. The blending of human and animal forms further connects it to the symbolic imagery found in their art.
