Vivek Vadkar is an award-winning Indian artist born in 1985 in Karjat, India. He specializes in fine art painting, using oil and acrylic colors. His work often combines a realistic art form with imagination, with a focus on landscapes and figurative compositions. Vadkar's education includes a Diploma from Khopoli Chitrakala Mahavdyalaya and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the University of Mumbai, which he completed between 2003 and 2005. He has worked as a freelance fine artist for over a decade. His work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in various galleries in India, including the Jehangir Art Gallery, The Taj Art Gallery, Nehru Centre Art Gallery, and Leela Art Gallery in Mumbai. He has received several awards for his art, such as the Pune Art Festival Award for Best Landscape in 2010 and a State Government Award in 2009. He was also a finalist in the International Artist magazine Challenge in 2012.
